Tigirlily To Play Themselves On The Young & The Restless

I had some inside information, that I was sworn to secrecy on.

The ladies of Tigirlily dropped this on me back when they stopped by the US 103-3 studio a few weeks back. Now, it can finally be shared. Tigirlily will make their soap opera acting debut on the CBS soap "The Young & The Restless."

Kendra and Krista will be play themselves as an up and coming music act, that makes a stop in Genoa City (fictional city in the soap opera, located in Wisconsin). A character on the soap opera by the name of Devon Hamilton owns a record label, and that's how Tigirlily fits into the plot. They will be playing themselves, and will even encounter some enthusiastic fans while in Genoa City. Tigirlily will also perform on the show.

Everything is coming together for Tigirlily in real life these days.

Kendra and Krista Slaubaugh from Hazen, North Dakota are on the verge of becoming a national household name in the world of country music. They've had a #1 single on iTunes, they released their self-titled EP on July 9th, which is available on iTunes, Apple Music and Spotify. Of course, you can hear their songs on US 103-3 too. They built a tremendous platform by playing live all across the upper Midwest. Since, their move to Nashville a couple of years ago, they have opened for artists such as Chris Janson, Justin Moore, Big and Rich, Love & Theft, Leann Rimes and many others. They've also been performing at Dierks Bentley's night club in Nashville for the last couple of years.
