Why DO Child Stars Go Crazy?!?!??!

You see it in the  news all the time---some child stars end up crazy. Amanda Bynes anyone?   Or perhaps Lindsay Lohan, McCauley Culkin, and child star after child star gone wacky!

Then there are a few who actually make it out alive and well (emphasis on the word “few”).

So why is that?

Former child star Mara Wilson who starred in movies like “Mrs. Doubtfire” and “Matilda” answered some of those questions and we think she makes a few good points.

Here are some of the better ones:

Their parents aren’t protecting them.

They’re not young and cute anymore and thus get yanked out of the spotlight.

 And perhaps the one that makes the most sense---in reality the child stars it turns out have no other life skills. (Cracked)
