If being stuck on a train for 13 hours sounds miserable to you, be glad you weren't one of the passengers who experienced that horror.

In recent days, the northern part of North Dakota was hammered with snow and it wreaked havoc on Amtrak passengers passing through the area.

Just over 100 passengers were on board when the train got stuck in a snowbank that was 25 feet high and 200 feet long. KXJB TV says the train was finally freed for travel after 13 hours.

Fortunately, according to one passenger, the power to the train remained on for passengers and the lounge and cafe were open as well so passengers could get food. But apparently many passengers passed the time by sleeping.
