According to a new study from the University of South Carolina, just putting your kid in a youth sports league is not enough to ensure he or she is getting enough exercise necessary for good health.

Researchers found that only 24 percent of youth baseball, softball and soccer players were active for 60 minutes during practices. In general, soccer players got more activity than baseball and softball players and boys were more active than girls.
