I ask you this - while looking at the above picture, how does this look safe? How many times have we been out on a busy street somewhere in Bismarck/Mandan, and see a big huge dog or dogs with no leash in the back of a truck?. My initial thought is always "Man I hope this vehicle doesn't get rear-ended" or "What if the driver has to come to a quick sudden stop - How does the dog keep its balance?"

I keep thinking to myself over and over - how is this dog owner oblivious to what could happen? Does he or she not care? I also wondered if it's legal to keep an animal in the back of your pickup while you are driving - have you ever thought the same?
