Bismarck Boasts ‘Best Tap Water’
Do you like the local tap water? Well, sip on this:the City of Bismarck won an award this week for having the best-tasting tap water in the state.

The competition took place at the annual Water & Pollution Control Conference in Grand Forks. Attendees selected Wahpeton, Valley City, and Bismarck as the top three contenders in a blind taste test.
Past water winners included Past winners include Lisbon (2017), Mandan (2016), Valley City (2015), Fargo (2014), Medina (2013), Mayville (2012), Fargo (2011), Mayville (2010), Valley City (2009), Enderlin (2008), Grand Forks (2007), and Minot (2006).
You may be interested to know that Sioux Falls in neighboring South Dakota won the national top spot for best tap water in a poll conducted late last year by the American Water Works Association. Boise, Idaho and Salem, oragon also ranked in the top twenty-five.
