Bismarck Receives Fourth Most December Snowfall Ever in 2016

Over the years, Bismarck has received a lot of snow. The amount of snow we've gotten this December is among the most ever.

According to the National Weather Service, Bismarck received 45.3 inches of snow this December. The most snowfall, the state's capitol ever received was in 2008-2009 when 45.8 inches fell.

There were slightly higher snowfall totals in 1993-1994 and 1996-1997 as well.
