I know that you have heard this a trillion times, but they are JUST people. They have a demanding, high stressful job, and every time they leave their house for work the men and women put their life on the line. The last time I went to one of these was in Minot, North Dakota, and it was great. This Friday take a few minutes out of your day and plan on stopping by around 9:00 am - Coffee with a Cop at the Gifted Bean Coffee House at Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library. When you sit down with a police officer they are representing our city of Bismarck, but most importantly they are just like yourself, they have a family, loved ones, and responsibilities. Take this as an opportunity to get to know your neighbor who keeps us safe.
