Carson Wentz seems pretty happy after the Philadelphia Eagles went out and traded for a veteran playmaker on offense that Eagles fans are quite familiar with.

The Eagles made a trade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to acquire wide receiver DeSean Jackson. The wide receiver made a name for himself in Philadelphia for the first six seasons of his career from 2008 through 2013 with several highlights as a deep ball threat and punt/kick return extraordinaire.

Carson Wentz seems pretty delighted to have Jackson as an offensive weapon.

Last season with Tampa Bay, Jackson totaled 774 receiving yards on 41 catches and 4 touchdowns. Jackson led the NFL with an average of 18.9 yards per catch. It was the fourth time in the wide receiver's career that he's led the league in that statistic.

The 32 year-old wide receiver caught 356 passes for 6,117 yards and 32 touchdowns during his previous time with the Eagles. Even at Jackson's age, he still gives Wentz and the Eagles a premier deep ball threat that's known as one of the best in the NFL at the position.
