••MINNESOTA TWINS  On the road to play the Mariners in Seattle FRI-SAT-SUN

 LOCAL FUN AROUND TOWN:

••See Shakepeare’s “The Tempest”  On the capitol grounds FRII SAST & SUN 630pm.  Also an expanded Children’s Renaissance Faire is on SAT from 2-6pm, us south of the Heritage Center.   Both events are FREE!!!

••”Cave Rock” hits the stage presented by the Dakota Stage and the Shade Tree Players, this FRI & SAT at 7pm and SUN at 2pm at the Dakota Stage, 412 East Main Avenue downtown.  This is a great play for the kids all about Woody a young caveman.  $10 for adults $6 for kids.

••Catch the “Little Mermaid” FRIDAY night live outdoors at 830 for the final performance presented by the Sleepy Hollow Theatre at the park at 26^th & Divide.

••See Les Miserables” outdoors LIVE SAT thru WED presented by the Sleepy Hollow Theatre at the park at 26^th & Divide.

••Mandan Farmers Market is open SAT starting at 8am at Heritage Park on Main Street.  Open til everything sells out.   Also open TUES at 10am, and SAT thru October 29^th.

••Learn About Photography at a mini-class at Bob’s Photo at 1019 East Interstate Avenue SAT Morning 10-1130am.  FREE.

••Come & See The Animals!  The Dakota Zoo now has their summer hours is open daily from 10am-7pm.  $7 for adults, $4 for children.    New bear cubs and baby camels to see!

••Take a Guided Tour of Buckstop Junction. Any Saturday or Sunday at 1pm.  Vintage Shop is open from 12noon-4pm.  $5 for adults and $3 for students, off the East Bismarck Expressway.

••Bismarck Public Library Summer Movie Day is on TUESDAYS from 130-3pm.  Come to the Story Room and watch a movie.  Kids are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult or babysitter at least 12.   FREE  

••Capital Farmers Market is on all day Saturday in the K-Mart Parking Lot starting at 8am.

••Members of the Military and their immediately family in FREE at the Gateway of Science thru Labor Day.   It’s open FRI & SAT 10am-5pm and MON-THU 12N-7pm.  1810 Schaefer Street in Bismarck, near Bismarck State.

••Burleigh County Extension office has great stuff for your yard Mondays at noon through out July.   This MON—it’s Landscaping Your Yard.   It’s on a 12noon and it’s free!  3715 E. Bismarck Expressway.

••Summer Band Shell Concerts continue MON THRU FRI at 730pm Mandan’s Dykshoorn Park on the west end of Main Street.  Dacotah Lions sell burgers and brats EVERY TUE from 530-730pm.   The concerts are FREE!

Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine in this sequel to the member of the X-Men's first solo outing.  And this one is set in Japan.
