••20th Annual Dickens Festival is on FRI-SAT-SUN in Garrison  This is a great family getaway where Garrison becomes a quaint Victorian Village.  It’s on FRI-SAT & SUN through Saturday the 14th.  Lighted parade, ride the Queen Elizabus, English Tea, Fruitcake toss, ride in a horse-drawn carriage, troy and tractor collector’s show, and a live presentation of Dicken’s “A Christmas Carol.”   Their website is dickensfestival.com for more info!

 

•St. Alexius Hospice 20th Annual Wreath Auction  is on FRI from 8am-3pm at the entrance at 10th & Rosser.  Christmas wreathes, holiday arrangements and a variety of season items will be sold by silent auction.

••Pride Of Dakota Holiday Showcase  is on FRI-SAT & SUN at the Bismarck Civic Center Exhibit Hall.  All sorts of great things for sale—all made right here in the Dakotas.  FRI 4-9, SAT 9-5 and SUN 11-4.  $2.

 

••See the Christmas Production—“The Long Christmas Dinner” at the Dakota Stage .  It’s a classic play written by Thornton Wilder.  It’s a delightful drama about several generations of one family and 90 Christmas Dinners.  See the Play this FRI & SAT at 730pm, SUN at 2pm and next WED-THU FRI & SAT at 730pm, and SUN the 15th at 2pm for the final performance.  Dakota Stage is downtown at 412 East Main Avenue.
