Girl Scout Cookie Competition From Saturday!

There was much fun to be had Saturday during the various competitions at Kirkwood Mall to kick off the 2014 sales of Girl Scout Cookies.   

We had various competitions including being blindfolded and having to identify the various Girl Scout cookies by smell and touch (I only missed one!), and then trying to flip cookies into a plastic hat---only one competitor was able to make even one in the "hat."    Then of course the Girl Scout Cookie Eating Contest.    I was able to down about 6 1/2 of the 18 on the plate.   Matt Bingham of our sister station "96.5 The FOX" was able to down 15 of the cookies finished 2nd.  Another of the competitors was able to eat 18 of them and win the Girl Scout Cookie Eating event.  It was fun and I look forward to competing next year for sure!!!  And yes--those tasty Girl Scout Cookies are now on sale---buy some---help out the Girl Scouts and enjoy!!  Me?  I love the Thin-Min Cookies and buy 2-3 boxes and then put them in my freezer to enjoy all year long!  In the pics--me before the competition, me and my special helper Lacey, and then Matt Bingham from "The Fox" and his Girl Scout assistant!!!
