In response to a report of a structure fire at Dakota Ridge Apartments, located at 5963 Highway 85, the Williston Fire Department (WFD) was dispatched Saturday at 1:44 PM by the Williams County Dispatch Center (WCDC). Initial reports indicated a vehicle fire within a garage. While the Williston Rural Fire Department took the lead in firefighting efforts, WFD's Medic 2, stationed at Fire Station #2, promptly arrived at the scene by 1:54 PM, swiftly followed by additional WFD units.

As the fire had spread to adjacent units, WFD was requested to provide mutual aid at 1:50 PM. Engine 3 and Tender 1 from WFD responded to contain the blaze confined to six garage units within the 20-unit structure. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.

WFD's response team comprised Engine 3, Medic 2, and Tender 1, totaling five firefighters. All WFD personnel were successfully cleared from the scene by 3:34 PM.

It's worth noting that while WFD provided crucial support in containing the fire, the Williston Rural Fire Department remained the primary agency overseeing the incident. Additionally, alongside firefighting efforts, the Williams County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to ensure scene security and offer further support.
