I think most of us agree on this; North Dakota dads are incredibly hard to shop for.

Our dads seem to have it all. They already have boats, they already have all the fishing gear they could need. They have grills, and tools, and gadgets out the wazoo.

This leaves us scratching our heads every Father's Day, wondering what in the world we should get our North Dakota dads as a gift.

We want it to be thoughtful, and we want it to be something they actually want.

If you're stumped, we have something that just might help.

Studies were done by a company called, Business. Yougov, and it found out what the number one thing North Dakota dads, and dads all across the country actually want for Father's Day this year.

You might find this surprising, but 58 percent of dads just want to spend time at home with the family. 42 percent of dads just want a nice meal at home.

Armed with this knowledge, you can give your dad the perfect gift by putting those two things together.

Pick up a couple steaks and some sides from the grocery store, grill em up, and chill at home with your dad, playing cards and watching movies --your dad will love this.

That said, if you're not much of a cook, you can always take your dad to his favorite steakhouse. Don't know where to go? You're in luck! We've put together a list of the best steakhouses in North Dakota according to locals.
