Something to try:

Anyone can stay in a hotel, but if you want to get a real taste of what Bismarck's all about, maybe it's time you mix it up. You might not know it, but Bismarck has quite a few Airbnbs.

Warning: don't do what I did...

Once upon a time, I tried staying in a "Haunted" Airbnb. Ever heard of the "Lemp Mansion"? It's in St. Louis, Missouri, and is said to be extremely haunted. It sits near the "Lemp Brewery," a historic site in the city. So, a little unsettling fact is that people actually died there... though I suppose I wouldn't know it if the same thing happened in my apartment -- at this point, I'd rather not know!

So, my idea: "Yeah, let's stay there!" So, in between clubbing and brunches, my friends and I would come back to our rooms (in the servants quarters) and get ghosted. Like, actually ghosted. So, maybe don't book your first room at a haunted mansion, but definitely give some Airbnbs a try!

The best of the best:

So, if you're tired of the sterile, uniform feel of a standard hotel, you can try out any one of the 104 listed places in Bismarck.. but if you want some recommendations, I'll help you out! Apartments, homes, condos and even cottages, I've put together a list of the best of the best. Keep in mind, this is just my opinion. Enjoy!
