Much of North Dakota has received some beneficial rains over the last 48 to 72 hours.

While states like Nebraska, Kansas, and Iowa, have been dealing with tornadoes of late, North Dakota has been seeing steady rains.  Almost one of those perfect rains, where you get a good "soaking" without the run-off".

A good share of the state was "abnormally dry" or currently experiencing "drought conditions" before our current wet cycle.

Here's a look at the latest drought monitor map for North Dakota from the U.S. Drought Monitor.
