Mandan Hand-Cuff stories Saturday Night

As I was getting ready to go out on Saturday night, this happened. 

So my process of going out includes checking the strip in Mandan to see if those bars are hopping. This night was a little different.  As I was by the dairy queen, I was pulled over for doing 39 in a 30. Really I was pulled over to see if I was drunk, I get it. So I wasn't worried at all because I hadn't gone out yet. The Girl cop was polite I gave her my stuff and patiently waited for it back and to get a warning.

What happened next was pretty weird. I was asked out of the car, handcuffed and searched. My license 10 days earlier apparently was suspended unbeknownst to me. Back east it's a ticket and you cant get in the car to drive it home.  Here I thought I was going to jail.  Luckily or unluckily there was a gunfight not too far from here so I sat in the car cuffed for 20 minutes till they gave me a court order and let me go.

Bizzare night and I will say the cop was very polite, even questioning me when I asked her to take a picture of me in cuffs for my blog LOL.

Anyway, the moral of the story is don't get pulled over, because anything can happen.
