Militias Are Popping Up Like Whack-A-Mole.

Let me tell you what's fine by me...gun racks in the back of trucks.  Got the old reliable Winchester 12 gauge hanging right next to the Remington 30-30. You don't see that much anymore, but back in the day it seemed every truck had a gun rack. It's perfectly legal to have them in there as long as their unloaded.  Fine by me, I'm a firm supporter of gun owners.

But, I'll drop right out of the fan club the minute you start strapping on your one hundred dollar tactical vest, your recon chest rig, jackboots, tasers, pepper spray, night vision goggles, and other items that should be better left for your "Red Dawn" Halloween costume.

If you can legally conceal and carry a firearm, again fine by me.  But I think most every rational citizen on this planet doesn't want to see some armed dope hanging out where we vote.  I don't want to see ANYBODY that's not part of the official election team working that day to be just "hanging out". If you want to make sure everything is on the up-and-up, how about you fill out your ballot and get out!  See?  Everything's working great!

So let's keep militias out of the polling places.
