North Dakota Gas Station Pet Peeve – Stop Doing This!
The goal when going to the gas station is to get in and out of there quickly while touching as few things as possible, because GERMS. Sometimes there are certain things that get in our way or make going to the gas station a less than fun experience.
Here's what I think we need to stop doing:
Don't Park Your Car At The Pump
Look, if you need to get gas, by all means park you car there and go in and pay if you need to, that's totally fine. However, if you're parking your car in front of a pump while you go shop around the convenience store when other people want and need to use it, that's not cool.
I've seen this happen so many times, and it really blows my mind. Nine times out of ten there's plenty of parking spaces on the side of the building, so why block a pump you don't plan to use.
Since we're on a roll here, another thing that is really rude that people do, is clean their cars out at the trash cans by the pump. We all know they're only meant for one or two things in, but some of us take it a little too far and unload everything. I feel bad for the employees who have to clean out those trash cans.
Here's The Point
So, the point I'm trying to make here is to just be considerate of others, extend a little courtesy, and do what you're supposed to do.
That's just my opinion. Is there anything that really bugs you that people do at the gas station? Send us a message and let us know.
