Peter Frampton Expands Joint Cheap Trick Tour, Adds Solo Dates

Peter Frampton has put together a summer tour schedule that would exhaust many artists half his age.

The legendary guitarist has expanded his previously announced co-headlining tour with Cheap Trick, which now includes more than 30 dates, while adding a dozen solo shows, starting June 3 in Modesto, Calif., and continuing through a Canadian appearance in late August.

ABC News Radio also reports that Frampton will be part of the lineup for Dear Jerry: Celebrating the Music of Jerry Garcia, a tribute concert honoring the Grateful Dead frontman with performances from surviving band members as well as Allen Toussaint, Widespread Panic, Grace Potter and others.

Frampton's most recent album, Hummingbird in a Box, was released last year. Check out the complete list of tour dates below.
