BISMARCK, N.D. - According to KFYR-TV-Governor Doug Burgum said at a press conference Sunday that school districts across the state have until March 27th to submit plans to the state on how to move forward with educational plans.

Concerning school in Bismarck.  This week students are encourage to finishing any outstanding work they may have.

Below are links to instructions for student learning March 23-27.  Bismarck Public Schools intent is to move to distance learning the week of March 30. BPS will be reaching out to parents and students regarding this early this week. If you have questions, contact your child's school's main phone number (https://www.bismarckschools.org/phone) starting at 10 am on Monday, March 23.

Burgum said he expects schools to resume on April 1st. If schools do not launch plans on April 1st, they will be expected to make up additional days at the end of the school year.

With a new executive order, the state will waive a total of 12 school days because of impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic.
