Should the city of Bismarck, ND use the empty lot across the street from the Bismarck Event Center for event parking? Many people have to walk a long way to go to a show and the lot across the street would be perfect. The lot is where the old strip mall was and is currently empty. This would make a great parking lot and would help so people wouldn't have to walk so far.

The Bismarck Event Center in Bismarck, ND is a great place for concerts and other events. The place always fills up when they bring an event down to town. The parking lot across the street would just be a great addition to the Bismarck Event Center. Many people wanted a hotel to go in this location but I think a parking lot would be more beneficial.

The Bismarck Event Center brings in all kinds of different events and always brings in great concerts to the local area. I love going to concerts there and after the show, it's just a short walk to downtown Bismarck, ND. People like going downtown before and after the concerts. The parking lot would help out with people not having to walk so far when there is a show or concert. They could also charge for parking in this parking lot and it would be nice to not have to walk very far for concerts. They could even build a parking ramp in the lot. What would you like to see happen to the empty lot?

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
