This weekend it's here!

The 3rd annual Optimist Club Easter Egg Hunt is going to be happening at the North Dakota Capitol grounds this weekend. This event is all about the kids and is pretty funny when the eggs are dropped and the children are released to get them, such a competitive site!

It would be an even better site if there were green grass and nice warm weather. I guess we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Here's the official word of the event from their facebook post:

The 3rd annual Optimist Easter Egg Hunt will take place on the ND Capitol Grounds on April 14th at 1:30pm. Our Easter Egg Hunt committee is egg-cited to report that this year we will have 12,000 eggs for several hundred kids to hunt down! Despite the current cold temps outside, we are optimistic that we will have warmer weather for this year’s event. We greatly appreciate all of the volunteer support from our Optimist Club which makes this such a fun and awesome event for the kids in our community!
