Yum! Here’s North Dakota’s Most Popular Christmas Dessert
Can't. Stop. Eating.
The holidays are great for the spirits, but bad for our mid-sections. So, what holiday dessert is the one we can't get enough of?
There are so many, but there's just one that North Dakotan's say is the absolute best.
Pioneer Woman did a study, looking at Google Trends data to find out which holiday dessert brings each state the most cheer.
The source chose 40 different classic, holiday desserts and looked at the data.
Which Desserts Are On The Table?
Peppermint bark, fudge, gingerbread cookies, and even cheesecake were some of the many selected for the study.
The Most Popular Dessert Overall?
As it turns out, the most popular dessert in the US is none other, than cheesecake. I'm already feeling a Golden Girls marathon coming on.
The second most popular holiday dessert in the country is pudding.
Odd Choices
I'm very confused as to how Skittles and Jolly Ranchers made the list, but Washington and Utah are all about those candies during the holiday season.
A Classic
You have to applaud Idaho for choosing the quintessential Christmas candy as its favorite. Nothing scream Christmas quite like cany canes. Classy.
North Dakota
North Dakota was the ONLY state to choose peanut butter blossoms as its favorite holiday treat. *Gasp*
These are the little sugar cookies with a Hershey Kiss on top.
It's funny because at least 80 percent of the time I pluck the Hershey kiss off and throw away the cookie. I could just buy Hershey kisses instead, but what fun is that?
Load up on your favorite holiday treat and enjoy the holidays! TTFN.
