Soon-to-be Super Bowl quarterback Joe Burrow once lived in the Peace Garden State.  According to an article on InForum, Cinnicinatti Bengals Joe Burrow attended Centennial Elementry in Fargo, North Dakota back in the first and second grades.  Here's a shot of Joe back then with his best friend at the time.

His father during this period was an assistant coach for North Dakota State University Bison.  Joe was attending the first and second grades in Fargo back in 2003 and 2004.  His second-grade teacher Pam Carrier says Joe was a very kind young boy growing up and she still remembers the day his parents came to class to let everybody know that Joe would be moving.  She said the entire class was crying.  That's the kind of boy Joe was.  He was liked by everyone.  The Centennial teacher went on to say he was a leader even at that young age.  He would let everybody play sports or games at recess but he always organized it.  Carrier said after Joe Burrow moved away he wrote a letter back to the teacher telling her he missed her and the second grade in Fargo.

According to Wikipedia, the Burrows moved from Fargo, North Dakota to Athens, Ohio where his father accepted the defensive coordinator position at Ohio University in 2004.  Joe would eventually attend LSU and win the Heisman Trophy and a National Championship for the LSU Tigers in 2020.  He was then selected in the first round of the NFL draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.

It's going to be kind of hard not to cheer for this young man on Super Bowl Sunday.
