A sixteen year-old Swedish climate-change activist who addressed the UN will visit Standing Rock Reservation this week.

West Dakota Fox reports Greta Thunberg will speak in Standing Rock on Tuesday, participating in panels on climate change.

She stopped off in Pine Ridge, South Dakota over the weekend.

The Swedish-born Ms. Thunberg made headlines in recent weeks with the news of her "school strikes" advocating for more aggressive climate action, as well as her anger-fueled comments before the United Nations' Climate Action Summit.

West Dakota Fox says Ms. Thunberg will participate in a pair of panels with another teen activist, Tokata Iron Eyes, "focused on the climate struggle in Indian Country, including plans to double oil flowing through the Dakota Access Pipeline and the proposed path of the Keystone XL pipeline."

Last week Ms. Thungard attended a climate-change rally in Canada sporting full American/Canadian Indian garb.
