Former UND Athlete Was Shot in Las Vegas
Over the weekend, a gunman opened fire on individuals attending a country concert in Las Vegas.
Among one of the individuals shot was former UND football and baseball player Andrew Gudmunson according to a Twitter account associated with the University.
Fortunately, Gudmunson was not one of the individuals who was killed but he did need surgery. Gudmunson will apparently undergo more rounds of surgery soon.
According to KX News, Gudmunson now works in real estate in Minot.
According to UNDSports.com, Gudmunson played baseball as an third baseman for the school in 2007, 2008, and 2009. He also played right field in some games in 2009.
In 2006, he was on the football roster as a Quarterback though he did not play in any games.
Gudmunson originally attended the University of Nebraska before eventually transferring to UND according to his UNDSports.com bio. Gudmunson is originally from Minot.
