There are two really dumb ways you can find yourself linked to an armored truck

When you think of dumb criminals, what's the first thing you think of? Maybe a not-so-bright crook drops his wallet at the scene of a robbery. That would be really dumb. Thieves are generally in a hurry to steal money or whatever the target is, and they make a ton of mistakes. These two incidents I'm about to tell you about have one thing in common, an armored truck.

Bismarck, North Dakota and San Diego, California - What do these cities have in common?

Let me get right to it, back in 2011, right here in Bismarck, North Dakota, dumb and dumber decided it would be a great idea to STEAL an armored truck. According to jamestownsun.com  "A man involved in an armored car heist in Bismarck has been sentenced to two years and nine months in prison"  One of his other idiot partners was given over a year of punishment in jail. The third bright individual actually worked for the armored truck company, and he was under the brilliant idea all three of them would get away with it. In San Diego last week, a driver of an armored truck somehow thought the back door to the vehicle was locked shut.

"Show me the money"

Last month on a San Diego, California highway, an armored truck back flew open, distributing an undetermined amount of cash for those people driving behind the vehicle. According to nypost.com  "The truck’s door flew open at around 9 a.m., sending bills flying over Interstate 5 near Carlsbad, halting traffic as drivers got out of their cars to snatch what they could"  As you can well imagine, several cars came to a stop as people ran around scooping up piles of money. The driver of the armored truck tried to retrieve the cash but then started filming other greedy people. Check out the video below.

Is the money free for you to keep?

Ummmm no. Heck no, as in if you were one of the many who pocketed the dough, you will probably have the authorities at your door in the very near future. So if that had happened here, what would you have done?
