Mandan Officer Back on the Job After Shooting

A Mandan policeman, who shot and killed a man in April, is back on the job.
KX News reports Sgt. Nick Pyonnen was put on standard leave after the shooting a man with a knife during a domestic dispute.

Yesterday, the Morton County State's Attorney completed a review and ruled the seargant was justified in discharging his weapon, and no criminal charges are be filed.

The officer is now back on full duty.
