I have a strict "no shovel" policy when it comes to shoveling snow in March.

That pretty much went out the window last night when I got home from work.  I knew I had a snow drift that was up to the hood of my truck in my driveway and there was no way the snow blower would be able to handle that one.  I knew I was going to have to hit that one the old fashion way (with a shovel).

Much of south-central and southeast North Dakota was pounded with snow on Monday evening and Tuesday morning.  The I-94 corridor was especially hit hard.

March is coming in like a lion.

March by the way is the first day of spring according to the Meteorological calendar.  It was kind of ironic that we get pounded by snow to kick that off.  What is hard to stomach is that March looks very active and cold.  More snow storms are likely.
