The Leading Cause of Death in North Dakota is Really Boring
A map was recently released by the Center for Disease Control listing the leading cause of death in each state. In a parallel universe, this would be a really cool map. But it is actually very boring.
The leading cause of death in North Dakota is atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis is a build up of plaque in your arteries. Eventually the plaque hardens, narrows the arteries or closes them up completely, then a heart attack occurs followed by death.
Unhealthy foods help contribute to this condition.
Kansas and Colorado share atherosclerosis as a leading cause of death.
You can see the full map below. We need to make sword fights a thing again... or start freeing tigers from the zoo.
