Carson Wentz suffered an injury to his knee before exiting, but still led the Eagles to a 43-35 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

The Philadelphia Eagles (11-2) remain as the number one seed in the NFC, but may have a bigger price to pay after their victory. Carson Wentz suffered what is feared as a possibly season-ending injury to his knee.

Wentz had 4 touchdown passes (3 in the1st half) as the Philadelphia Eagles edged out the Rams. Wentz was 23 of 41 for 291 yards with the 4 touchdowns and an interception before leaving on a play that would come back on a penalty. At the time, Wentz stayed in the game and threw a go-ahead touchdown to Alshon Jeffery to make it a 34-28 game. Nick Foles came on in relief and help secure the victory.

Torrey Smith had 100 yards receiving on just 6 catches for the Eagles.

However, the big news remains. Due to Carson Wentz’s knee injury, his season may be over. We’ll continue to update this story as more information becomes available.

The Eagles (11-2) will play at the NY Giants (2-11) next week.
