What Exactly Is A BisMan Troll Anyway?
What would your guess be? Maybe a new animal at the Dakota Zoo? How about a new feature cartoon movie from Disney?
All of those are good guesses, but not even close to being right. Let's explore what the dictionary THINKS a T- R- O- L- L is -

- (in folklore) an ugly creature depicted as either a giant or a dwarf. That's usually what you see in cute cartoons. I was about ready to give up and not think that the internet had a clue to what that 5 letter word means - until I saw this.....
What does the slang word troll mean?
A troll is Internet slang for a person who intentionally tries to instigate conflict, hostility, or arguments in an online social community. Platforms targeted by trolls can include the comment sections of YouTube, forums, or chat rooms.

I couldn't have said it best myself, but I will give you a prime example of what a BisMan Troll is - just recently on a local Facebook group page, a young lady had a simple question, about an action that I believe deserved every word she wrote:
"Has anyone else had a bumper sticker put on their vehicle within the last few days without your consent? It said “stand up for your country” with American flag decals around it. I don’t know where or when it happened, but it would have been between 5pm on Friday, my vehicle was parked at Dakota Awards, and today at this time. I only just got my vehicle from Dakota Awards this afternoon around 1pm, went home, to a business in Mandan, and now just noticed it at Tap In in Bismarck"
Here is what I took from this immediately - she was curious how many others received a bumper sticker that was put on their personal vehicle without permission. That's it - .I don't blame her ONE bit, the issue is NOT what was ON the sticker, the fact is that nobody has the right to deface someone else's car. Now here is where the trolls came into play - they twisted certain parts of this post and came right out and accused her of not "liking this country" - are you kidding me? Again anyone without an ounce of troll in them would clearly see that nothing came close to being negative. She was speaking the truth. I see potshots that ignorant people make at others all the time, they get a rise out of it. That's too bad that a few Bismarck/Mandan trolls spew out words of hate. Maybe they should have a bumper sticker put on their car that says "Love me, I'm a troll"
