Little Caesars Could Be Giving Out Free Pizza…Maybe
Little Caesars will give out some free pizza if certain men's college basketball teams win in the NCAA Tournament this Thursday and Friday (March 15th-16th)...and it's a big 'if.'
For Thursday's and Friday's games, if a number 16 seed should happen to pull off an upset victory over a number 1 seed, Little Caesars will give away a free HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo for every family that comes in and mentions the offer from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. on April 2, 2018. That being said, in the history of the NCAA Tournament, no number 16 seed has ever beaten a number 1 seed.
Each HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo comes with four slices of Little Caesars' Detroit-style DEEP! DEEP! Dish pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi product.
The schedule for such games involved in the promotion is as follows:
- #16 Pennsylvania vs. #1 Kansas @ 1 p.m., Thursday
- #16 Radford vs. #1 Villanova @ 5:50 p.m., Thursday
- #16 University of Maryland, Baltimore County vs. #1 Virginia @ 8:20 p.m., Friday
- #16 Texas Southern or North Carolina Central (winner) vs. #1 Xavier @ 6:20 p.m., Friday
Despite the fact that it has never happened, there has been as much parity in the past several years of the NCAA Tournament than we've seen before so it is bound to happen at some point. On paper, it may look impossible, but let's be honest, that's why they play the game. Here's to hoping for free Little Caesars pizza!
