Miss North Dakota Crowned Last Weekend

We have a new Miss North Dakota and her name is Katie Olson!

The pageant was last weekend in Williston and it was a good one, judging by the excitement of the winner. One great thing to hear from Katie is her excitement to visit schools and give her positive message to elementary school children.

The message would be one of perseverance and hope, something she learned a lot about as she took the very difficult journey to get to where she is right now.

She'll now get to visit schools all over the state to tell her story, and then come September, it will be her time to compete for the Miss America crown and, hopefully, join Cara Mund as the second Miss America from North Dakota.

It would be great to have her stop in to the radio station for an interview so we can visualize the perspective she has in getting ready to compete for the big crown.
