Reza's Pitch closed two years ago in downtown Bismarck but they're making a return for a short time frame on Sunday, October 21st to help raise funds for the athletic programs at the University of Mary.

From 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Reza's Pitch will be serving food in the north parking lot at the MDU Resources Community Bowl to raise money for the Marauders men's and women's soccer programs.

The former owner, Reza Kamranian, along with other former employees of the establishment will be serving build-your-own burgers with chips and waters at a cost of $10 per plate.

Lots of soccer will immediately follow at 1 p.m. as the UMary women's soccer team battles Upper Iowa. That game will be followed by the UMary men's soccer team taking on Fort Hays State at 3:30 p.m.

All proceeds from the Reza's Pitch fundraiser will go toward student-athlete scholarships for the University of Mary Marauders Armada. The restaurant hasn't been open since June 2016.
