According to a new survey, people are going to great lengths to pay for Christmas

44 percent admitted that they hadn't budgeted or saved enough in advance to pay for all the Christmas expenses.

31 percent said that they probably won't be able to cover their bills in January because of the Christmas splurge.

22 percent people will be turning the heat off or down more often in hopes of saving a few bucks.

6 percent have gone so far as to sell unwanted Christmas presents from 2011 to make ends meet this time around.
