Who Wants To Go For WALKIES?!

The dogs seem confused because this has never been done before! THREE Local Animal Rescue Organizations are joining together to raise money for all their combined critters through a virtual 5K fun run/walk. It's not virtual reality where you sit on your butt wearing weird goggles...

Nope, this is getting off your butt and raising money for Central Dakota Humane Society, Furry Friends Rockin' Rescue, and Kitty City.  They've banded together for a little thing they're calling:

RACE FOR RESCUES!

Here's the "virtual" part- you can complete the 5K race at ANYTIME!  Since we're needing to maintain social distance, we can't really gather together for fundraisers which are soooo important to the success of these animal rescues.

Registration is just $35 and your participation will also earn you an event t-shirt. The goal these groups have set is to find 500 runners and walkers who want help homeless and injured animals.  I think that sounds a lot like you!  Plus it's just $35! You can 5K run/walk whenever, wherever, and however you like. (treadmill anyone?) And, no proof of completion is required.

Registration deadline is Friday June 5th so please do not wait.
