 EVENTS AROUND TOWN


••For kids 11-17—it’s “Cupcake Wars” at the Morton-Mandan Pubic Library   It’s on today from 2-4pm.  Prizes to be awarded in several categories. Teens will take home what they decorate.   The library is at 609 West Main in Mandan. 

 

••Catch:  “Law And Order: Fairy Tale Unit”   It’s on FRIDAY and SATURDAY NIGHT at 730 at Simle Middle School.  Tickets available at the door-----$5 for adults and $3 for students.   The school is at 1215 North 19th Street in Bismarck.

 

••Dakota Air Variety Show Is on Saturday.  Live music performed in an old-fashioned radio show format is on at 2pm at the Belle downtown,  It’s the 3rd season for the Dakota Air variety show.  Tickets at the door are $20.

 

•••Roller Derby Double Header is on SAT NIGHT 6-10pm at the Bismarck Civic Center.   Features the BisMan Bombshellz B and the BisMan Bomberz.  The Bombers mean the Rock City Riot at 6pm, and the the Bombshellz B will take on the A-Town Roller Girlz.   Tickets are $12 at the door, and it benefits the Ronald McDonald house.

 

•••Raiiroad Museum Pancake & Sausage Breakfast is ON SUN from 830am-1230pm at the Mandan Moose Club.  Come eat and help celebrate 28 great years of the Railroad Museum.  There will be a silent auction, and model railroad displays.  $5.  Mandan Moose Club is at 111-11th Avenue N.E. in Mandan.  It’s a fund raiser to help re-roof and side the 1880 Steele Depot at the Railroad Museum. 

 

••Come & See The Animals!  The Dakota Zoo is open on FRI-SAT and SUN from 1-5pm.
