••Come & See The Animals!  The Dakota Zoo is open on FRI-SAT and SUN from 1-5pm. 

 

••4TH Annual Dickens Festival is on in Garrison!   Is open and continues through this SATURDAYDecember 8th.  This town of 1500 people gets transformed into a Victorian down of the mid 1800’s.  It’s like the Charles Dicken’s era.   There are street vendors, the Queen Elizabus, a lighted parade, fruitcake toss, English tea, craft show, a toy and collector’s show and you can enjoy a live presentation of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” Garrison is between Bismarck and Minot, right off Highway 83.

 

••Christmas In The Park is on FRI-SAT-SUN and MON from 6pm-10pm at Sertoma Park.  This is a great family activity and a wonderful drive-through the entire family will enjoy.   Just $5 per vehicle.

••The Nutcracker—an annual holiday tradition—is on stage at the Belle downtown Bismarck.  FRI at 730pm, SAT at 230pm & 7pm, and the final performance SUN at 230pm.  The music, the magic, the spectable create lasting memories year after year and for many of us the holidays wouldn’t be complete without the Nutcracker. 

 

••Catch “Inspecting Carol” you’ll love this hilarious holiday comedy presented by Dakota Stage Limited.  This production kicks off their 34th season.  It’s a charming and delightful production.   It’s on FRI & SAT at 730pm, SUN at 2pm and WED the 12th at 730pm.  Dakota Stage is downtown at 412 East Main in Bismarck.

 

••Bismarck State College Theater presents “The Movie Game” a riotous romantic comedy.   Performances are FRI, SAT & SUN at 730pm at the Sidney J. Lee Auditorium at 1500 Edwards Avenue in Bismarck.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $3 for BSC students.  Tickets are available at the door before each performance.

 

••Annual Christmas Bazaar and Bake Sale is on SAT from 8am-1pm at Christ The King Parish Life Center, at 505 10th Avenue Northwest in Mandan.  Lots of goodies will be there for sale!

••”Bacon To Benefit” the Cloverdale Holiday Sale & Fundraiser is on SAT starting at 9am.  Take advantage of storewide discounts and stock up on all your favorite holiday meats while supporting the United Way.  20% of the days sales will go the Bismarck-Mandan United Way.   Cloverdale Country Store is in Mandan at 30178 34th Street Northwest.

 

••The St. Joseph School Holiday Baking Extravaganza and Home Product show is on SAT from 10am-4pm at the St. Joseph School Cafeteria at 410 Collins Avenue in Mandan.

 

••The 12th Annual Bismarck Art & Galleries Association Cookie Walk is on SAT from 10am-3pm—or until all the cookies are gone.   This even features over 200 dozen homemade holiday cookies, candies and ethnics treat for sale.  It’s all on at 422 East Front Avenue.

 

••Tracy’s Sanctuary 8th annual Open House is on SAT from 11am-3pm.  This year there will be a quilt auction with many beautiful quilts.  The auction starts at 1pm.  It’s on at 908-North 8th Street in Bismarck.

••A Contemporary Christian Christmas Concert---“The Reason: A Family Christmas Experience” is on SUN from 7-9pm at Evangel Assembly of God.   The concert features Kutlass, Moriah Peters and Dave Lubben.  Tickets are $15, or $12 each for groups of 4 or more.  The church is at 3225 North 14th St. in Bismarck
