A couple of weeks ago, I took a pass on talking about this story because who wants to give some salted nut bar any more press. I mean, come on!

It's a guy in a mask (Governor's order) and an ax. Click and watch how allegedly some dude from Lisbon, North Dakota went walking up the stairs with an ax to kick some door's ass. Before we go any farther, we might as take a look at it now YouTube video!

I don't want to know this guy's motivation. I don't want to know who knocked his lollipop in the dirt. (I suspect Hoeven?) And, I never asked myself..."Scott, you should see if there's some way to donate to this alleged lunatic's defense fund". But that's just me.

I'm not a ranking member in the very small contingent that is the North Dakota Democratic-NPL party.

But these particular "good samaritan" politicians are just that...well, keep reading, it's interesting.

KFYR TV reported a great story with a pretty frank quote from Democratic-NPL Party Chairwoman Kylie Overseen, who apparently has never seen a request for comment of which she wasn't willing to accommodate.

I firmly believe that everyone, no matter their socioeconomic status, deserves a full and rigorous defense when accused of a crime. The small donation I made won’t even pay for an hour of time with a private defense attorney. I plainly and resolutely condemn violence, including against elected officials and public property. My donation does not reflect my views on the incident.

Why would banner waving party democrats do this?  I don't know! I'm asking you! I'm a little lost here...

A Go-Fund-Me page raising money for legal defense expenses for the man accused of vandalizing, Thomas Stark of Lisbon, North Dakota, features donations from three state Democrats.

Democratic-NPL Party Chairwoman Kylie Oversen, Party Executive Committee Representative Ellie Shockley, and the party’s nominee for lieutenant governor in 2012 Ellen Chaffee all gave donations.

I don't make many online donations, and if I do, it's for things like liking critters or not liking cancer.  My donations 100% reflect my views. But, let's say that maybe there is a whole lot more to this story.  Hmmm?

Don't care.

Again, he walked into the building with an ax and attacked a door.  Hopefully, he get's some help for his head. Which may help his defense.  I'd see if he can settle down and go with the "He's feeling much better now" defense.

Stay sane y'all
