Two People Gunned Down In Bismarck Late Last Night!

According to a press release from Lieutenant Gardiner from the Bismarck Police Department, Bismarck Police are investigating a late night shooting that occurred yesterday around 11:00 pm. Officers responded to the 1600 bock of Mapleton Avenue for reports of gunfire. They found two individuals with gunshot wounds, who were taken to a local hospital.

Bismarck Police believe this to be a targeted attack on the two victims, and that there does not appear to be further threat to the public.  An update on the victims will come later this afternoon as the investigation progresses.

UPDATE:

According to an article on KFYR-TV, one man, a 26 year old has died from gunshot wounds.  The 29 year old who was also shot, is in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.  No suspect has been apprehended at the time of this writing.
